Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
Not only in china.
This is a similar transport (but without spectacular mountains) in Brandenburg, Germany. Done by a firm my son (M. Sc., project manager) is working at.

The lifter with a single wing weights 118 metric tons and the blade is 243' long.

My brother was in charge of an installation in western NY. The blades were not as big as those - probably 100 ft or so & transported tip first on long tractor trailers. Speed limit on the site for the trucks was 5MPH. Some guy came "whipping" up the road @ about 15MPH & had to slam on the brakes because of a truck coming the other way. The tip ended up 6 ft or so past the front bumper, having gone through the cab, though the driver only had a cut on top of his head as he ducked. He did lose his job, as not only was the truck badly damaged, but the blade was junk - tolerances are really, really tight to maximize efficiency & cut down on noise.

Quite a few wind turbines going up around here. One problem with with the huge blades is that the trucks can't make the tight turns under freeway bridges to reach truckstops and refuel. I've been stuck a few times with a blocked blade trailer stalled under an overpass.
Best tactic seems to be unhitching the tractor from the trailer, refueling, then hooking up again.
