Default Need intel on dealer legitimacy!

Hello, I noticed a repo dealer on Facebook recently and came across a few boats of interest, but as I check out this dealer more and more, I'm skeptical. Has anyone ever dealt with MLN Auctions, supposedly based in Pittsburgh, PA? I see random forum reviews but it looks like they may be setting up dummy or copy forums for boat and auto enthusiasts and I'm determined to get to the bottom of this - whether they are legit and credible or not!

Has anyone heard of MLN Auctslists LLC, and if so, have you done business with them purchasing a boat?

If they are an LLC or Corp they will be registered with the dept of state in the state of incorporation. I would start with PA state gov.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

This doesn't seem legitimate. The information at https://www.bbb.org/us/pa/pittsburgh...-0141-71108462 says "On February 8, 2023 BBB of Western Pennsylvania verified that the company is not registered with the Pennsylvania Division of Corporations as required by Pennsylvania law." The address listed at https://mlnauctsystem.com/about-us/ is "EQT Plaza" which is an office building in downtown Pittsburg. Their domain name was first registered about a week ago so it doesn't seem likely that they would have sold anything yet, especially not all of the things listed as "Auction finished" on their web site. Good luck,

    Benson

Thank you all very much, super helpful and I had a gut feeling they were scammers... when something is too good to be true, it usually is! Thanks again for the collective intel! Safe boating...
