I didn't read the release that way.It mentioned using Ford's global resources to contribute to the programme.Which might mean paying for a new set of cam covers with a well known logo on them.These would then be bolted on top of the engine that has been developed in Milton Keynes by a bunch of ex-Mercedes recruits in association with the Japanese originators.

One of the F1 Youtube channels reports that Ford's involvement will be on the electrical side of the powertrain.
Details as yet unclear.
I'd much rather lay in my bunk all freakin day lookin at Youtube videos .
