    Default What do you know about Flight Numbers?

    This morning I booked a flight from Miami to Seattle. American flight AA2363 on May 20.
    I googled the flight number and today’s AA2363 is Mazatlan to Dallas.
    I had assumed that a particular number had designated a particular origin and destination. Evidently not true.

    My 39 years as an airline pilot was made much easier when I understood that only the laws of physics had to make sense.
