A weird thing happened - still haven't figured it

A couple of weeks ago, my wife ordered one of those countertop bread machines from a shopping channel. She received it, and has been quite happy using it. ( Here is where it gets weird - ) Today, our UPS route driver stopped by with a pre-printed return form for that exact bread machine, from Home Depot. She did not order it from them, and so far, I cannot explain how Home Depot sent the return form, nor how they were made aware that someone at my address wanted to return a bread machine to a place from which it was never ordered.

Sounds like some kind of scam. Is that HD form legit? Perhaps getting you to send your purchase to a fake address, not Home Depot. A new form of porch pirate, is my take.

This is the second addressd-related odd thing I’ve heard of this week. Too close to ID theft for my comfort.

I am not sure of the form, Bill , it is now in our 'curious' file. . . It WAS delivered by our regular UPS route driver, driving his usual UPS truck....
