Yep - I'd want at least 25 ton, though theoretically my boat is 20 ton. I think I'd still want some safety factor. That being said, it should do most boats up to about 40 ft. no?

A local boatyard bought a used Travellift and it arrived in an ungodly number of pieces. They guys there say it's like trying to figure out a giant 3-D jigsaw puzzle.

You are probably right. It is a pretty spot, 120 miles upriver from NYC. Perfect ( unfortunately)for a weekend getaway.
