I can't fathom naming a car. They need to know their place. They're just cars. It's like telling Alexa "Thank you." Eff that AI machine. It can suffer in silence. And if I did name a car I'd never tell anyone. I'd want the car to only answer to me. It's why I don't paint names on my boats. You wouldn't want someone calling your boat to come and play when you're trying to use it. Too dangerous.

This thread points out some differences in people. Many consider a car, boat, etc. nothing more than a tool or machine. Then there are others who realize that they can indeed talk to you & react to you. Not saying they can always be understood (hey - can you always understand your opposite gender?) - but the communication is there.

There are people who won't accept/believe anything paranormal either...
