There was a lovely large-format coffee table-type book about Flying Cloud years ago, when it was in the original owners' hands, I think. After reading that book and seeing the photos, I so wanted to have a junk like that to live on. I never did manage it.

My wife and I knew the Farrells and spent some time sailing on her and shared some delightful dinners together on our boats in Mark Bay. I also visited aboard and helped Allan with a few boat chores, just prior to his passing.
I'd be very interested to see some recent pics, see how her condition is these days and the story behind your acquiring China Cloud. SO glad she's getting some love, still. Please do, tell more?

Ah! That's the book I was talking about in post #3! I couldn't remember the name. Made me want to live on a junk.
