Classified documents found in Biden's old office?

supposedly found folders with classified marking. This would have been between being VP and being elected in 2020.
If this is true, it's a bombshell of epic proportions.

Apparently when cleaning out his former office, about 10 possibly classified documents were discovered. The Biden people immediately contacted NARA, who came and retrieved the items the next day.

If one can't discern a difference between that and 18 m9nths of playing games and issuing denials and obstructing subpoenas and lying about an executed search warrant and fighting via spurious and possibly corrupt use of I think 3 layers of the justice system, maybe one needs to recalibrate a bit.

According to the NYT's the docs were discovered back in October before the elections, not good optics, although we should acknowledge that both parties play tricks over politics. My understanding is that lawyers were brought in to hand the docs over willfully as opposed to defying subpeonas.

As one Twitter person observed, a key difference is also that the documents found in Biden's vice presidential office were ones which appear to have been there since some point when he was VP. During the whole period, Biden had, and to this day retains, a security clearance allowing him to at a minimum view them.

It would be interesting to hear how the documents were stored, in a location originally designed for the use of a sitting VP.
