I note that McCarthy is threating to read the US constitution out loud, the whole constitution, in the house. I presume being an originalist that is the motivation. The constitution is indifferent to the USSC which seems to have have awarded itself some extra powers sometime in th 19th century, and then there's voting………. It seems a bit vague unless you are white, male and own property, even slaves. And as for democracy……. Well Donn told me a long time ago that the US is not a democracy, and is not even united today for that matter………...

His latest concession was that only five members are now needed to call for a Vote of No Confidence.
