Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

You didn't happen to see the little old lady in her brand new shiny red super stock Dodge, did you? She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard.

Ive always gotten a kick out of these two signs separated by a few feet. There is a float plane lake on the right.

Right or wrong, our guide backed up to within about 20' of this beast. I was sitting in the back at the tailgate of an open Toyota. One bound and he would be in the truck with us. But, apparently, as long as you stay in the vehicle, the animals don't see you as a threat or as food.

So nice to sip coffee every morning and look at your photos.

It’s like this guy saw the camera and decided to strike a professional pose.

Wikipedia says these usually grow to about 48 inches but can grow to 72 inches. Quite sure this one was over 48 inches.

My youngest gave his sister this for Christmas. I've been helping her get it set up.... mostly keeping my grandson busy whilst she gets it together. They aren't cheap, but I guess for the urban dwellers, they are great for balconies and rooftop areas. She's got plenty of space... advantages here are keeping pests out of the vegies. This is the medium size... about a metre square

I shot over 100 shots today at Museum of Contemporary art in La Jolla and the surrounding area today, not one single image was worthwhile. Somedays you are the ball and somedays you are the bat.
That said it is a truly amazingly beautiful museum with an outstanding collection, and the day was one of the most perfectly clear and intensely beautiful SoCal days and I had a wonderful time with my best friend of over 50 years. So I think I was enjoying the moment with my friend too much to focus and take any worthwhile photos.
There is one room that over looks the pacific with three sides of glass but with square cut out so you can FEEL and see the ocean breeze it was spectacular.
Not my photo and does not remotely gives justice to the "experience?
