OK, I've found and exceeded the limits of the Google Pixel 7 Pro camera. I was well zoomed on this fella.

Another one - no processing other than a crop and size reduction. I'm a bit happier with the shot, as he's scratching hard here - but the loss of sharpness with the zoom is apparent. The camera is good for happy snaps, but bloody hell, the form factor is hopeless compared to a DSLR
The Viking Mississippi photo above was from a Pixel 7, but not the Pro.
Blurred thing in center of following was a bird, I think an owl. Not from phone.

abc deer leg?
not fergus' work. found in the brush. i did not look for the carcass, not wanting to impress the experience more than necessary.
gnawed on previously by coyote, most likely.

there have also been numerous sightings of a relatively large bobcat in the hood. i suppose a bobcat could take a blacktail yearling?
or...could be scavenged from a roadkill by any number of suspects.

Several years back, my dog brought home a deer head with some small non-typical anthers. Around here most deer remains are from hunters throwing them out after dressing the deer.
Meantime:
ROGERS, Ark.
A dog found a human foot in Benton County on Sunday.
The body part was brought to Fire Station One in downtown Rogers, Tim Jenkins, fire chief, told 40/29 News.
Firefighters handed it over to the police for further investigation.

A couple of unusual visitors yesterday. We've seen them time to time ranging in the driveway and on a trail cam.

A friend announced that they're baby turkeys. She has a lot of experience with turkeys, so who am I to argue.
They do look like turkeys. Maybe not babies (babies are round fuzzballs) - but preteens?

You have the magazine rack behind you? At best I would do myself a mischief trying to get a mag out of there. At worst ... no lets not go there.
i'm not putting it down to the side of the toilet where somebody might pee on it jay

I thought they looked like something I saw on Jurassic Park. Look for Mums eyes peering through the shrubbery at you- about eight feet up if it's a little one![]()
Didn't think y'all had wild turkeys there, but what do I know? Photo from last year:
