At your new place?
I worked with some ring porous today, trying to get out a piece or two for mallet heads.

You built your house out of stacked firewood- nice![]()
While that was a pic of my woodshed, stacked wood walls are actually a thing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cordwood_construction
A good friend & wooden boat builder in Maine has a house with cordwood walls.

Over 4 feet of snow covering our high elevation reservoirs. A good start for the water year. More snow in the forecast!
I don't have much to share. We spent a couple of weeks in an AirBNB in Salerno. We didn't rent a car but the BNBs owner's boyfriend took us to the end of the peninsula and back in his vehicle. He was a professional musician and a fount of information. Things to consider:
The main road is narrow and very curvy. Sometimes there are a line of cars waiting for a bus or truck to negotiate a hairpin curve.
Along most of the southern coast of the peninsula, you have to get off the main road to find the most memorable places.
It was crazy in November. I can only imagine it during full-on tourist season. And we didn't make it to the more touristy north side.
I suggest staying in the city-centre of Salerno. A lot of Salerno was destroyed during WWII, but most of the old city center is intact. There are easy day trips by train to Naples, Pompei, Paesturn, and an organic water buffalo mozzarella "ranch/dairy" where you can eat milk-made stuff til you puke. Its almost off the tourist route and in November is virtually tourist-free. And Salerno has an incredible light display for Christmas unlike any I've seen before.
Some of my images aren't showing in Flickr. They must still be on my phone.

Great photo in #34, Jimmy - is that a church / house of worship on the near right ?
Rick
Yes, it is or was a church. Don't know if it is still used. Charlie Patton was mentioned on the guitar thread today. His grave is about 4 miles east of that point. About another 16 miles on east will take you to where the Southern crossed the Yellow Dog. That railroad was the Southern at that time.
