Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
The more we can fight a war from our office without putting the lives of soldiers on the line, the less we fear the confrontation, and the closer to the end we are. Killing becomes too easy, too clean. When it becomes only the lives of the other side, I think that nothing holds us back. It isn't being ruled by machines that I fear will happen. We will be pushing the buttons on our extinction.
