And here I thought the post was excessively verbose!

Are we talking hours ago, or years ago?

You can't post info like that without further comment.

Nevermind, you just did! I guess you can.

It's just not fair to those of us who care.

I seem to recall that S&S were associated with a replica in1967(?) Pete Culler has a design for a ship's boat for that one somewhere in his repertoire,if memory serves.

Come on, you can't just post a statement like that without further explanation.
That's the kind of stuff we expect in the Bilge, but not up here.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Strange and almost bot-like. Much like facebook links that purport to be about one thing to draw your interest and are really about something else.

Peter, that’s a pretty impressive restoration of the J Schaefer 1967 replica schooner America.
In Italy I presume what yard is doing the work.
Do you know if the tender was sold with her.

Peter, I would love to know more about what you are doing. This is major work to a major vessel.

I think many others would like to know a lot more about this, it's a refreshing change from small ply boat build threads, and exactly why I come here.

Is it possible for you to write a bit more about it please?

    Thanks
    Martin.
