Team NZ are getting very close to the world sailing land speed record.
A bit more wind, a bit more development to the "boat", and official timing should see it done.
This is a research vehicle that is to give the teams designers information on very high speed sail, I doubt that I'd need to petition them for assistance in my own design work but its really interesting to see where they're going with that rig. A hint, there is a LOT more going on there than appears.

I once saw some sea speed trials on Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, Spain.
I was stunned by the incredible speed that little specially built boat could reach.
You certainly should be brave enough..
