The state of anxiety/paranoia the author of the article lives in is mind boggling to me.

Never had bumper or window stickers but always thought “Mast Abeam” in my pickup rear window would be fair warning when I’m changing lanes.

A local, vocal 2nd Amendment advocate has "Black Rifles Matter' and others similar types of bumper and window stickers on his big pickup. It was broken into and a handgun was stolen while he was on a job site.

I don't see those much anymore, but then NH is a few years behind VT developmentally...

I've only ever had one bumper sticker. During the "Warning I brake for animals" sticker craze (who the heck doesn't?), I had one that said "Warning I brake for trees". Since it was paired with my then vanity plate of "Bozo", I got a lot of looks from older folks & grins from younger.

The only sticker on my car window now is for the Traditional Small Craft Association.

I had one of these on my pickup rear window when I was a cowboy action shooter.People thought it was Yosemite Sam until they looked closer.

I'm trying to be offended by that, but I am forced to agree.

When “ baby on board” was popular, I made a homemade “ snot nose in the oven” sticker .

I had a vinyl one made up that read "Flintknapping- The art of the Ancients" and some point silhouettes. Looked good and raised some interest. Was still on my old '61 F100 when I sold it. JayInOz

Yup. I see this sort of stuff on Facebook . . . not infrequently.

I had a friend back then, who had a plastic sign made up that looked like the "Baby On Board" signs. It said

    Obnoxious Yellow Sign In Window

I once saw a bumber sticker back when "Dunkin' Donuts" was a popular sticker. It was distinctively multi-colored.

The sticker read "Fu**in' Gonuts". You can fill in the blanks. I still laugh about it every time I think of it because it was so perfectly done that I did a double take before I knew what I was seeing.

My favorite 'snark sticker' was "Your College Sucks... and So Does Your Honor Student"

My old 76 Toyota had an oval sticker that said “BZH”. I had no idea what it meant. This was before google.
One day, I parked in Fremont and a large Black man, waist length dreads, dashiki, and Bob Marley ball cap came up to me and spoke in French. When I said I didn’t understand, he asked
    Have you been to Brittany?
    No.
Your BZH sticker stands for Brittany. I lived there for a few years.
