    Thanks for linking the NPR piece, it really is much better than what I saw on The Hill.

    My thanks as well. While what NPR says is pretty bad, it's better than The Hill's lack of accuracy - more like a lie. I should know better than to trust The Hill.

    The incompatibility of systems is endemic in all fields, and then you get little empires also getting in the way.
    But if you link them all up then the hackers get everything.
    And then there's local criminality and corruption.
    Think that one through. The main problem of course is humans…………….
