A little more excitement than you might like when entering the harbor when it's nasty out.

There seemed to be a nice breeze and a good crew, I wonder why they weren’t carrying any sail?
Stay calm, be brave....wait for the signs. Possibly precariously prevaricating.
.
The relieved laughter at the end as they slowly unclenched.... know that feeling well.
"Failed"?
Agree, it looked like a small jib would have improved the situation
Because this is what the entrance to the [yacht] harbour in Łeba, Poland looks like? And they had to shoot it in pretty brisk conditions? Especially with that stiff northerly coming off the Baltic, that channel might be a bit tight for luffing up to drop sail.

They have a furling headsail for christ's sake! Trusting an engine in those conditions is stupid. Sail the damn thing!!!
When the last tree is cut
When the last river is dry
When the last fish is caught
Only then will Man realize that he cannot eat money.
They wouldn't have rolled so bad or gotten swamped if they had a bit of sail up. Run down the channel until the calmer water and luff up at the wider entrances to those little marinas.
i'd rather ride aboard the boat with the poles than this australian idiot
