The fire was at "Mystic Seaport Marine" which is entirely distinct and separate from "Mystic Seaport Museum".

Horrible news but it was not Mystic Seaport which is upriver.
At first I thought it was and all I could think of was the old mill where hundreds of old boats are stored.
That would be an irreplaceable loss.

Thanks for that. It's been over 30 years since i visited Mystic, so I'm a bit rusty. Looked like a horrible wind-driven fire.
