Hello All,
Considering taking this one on as a project and hoping to find out when and where this boat may have been built?
Greatly appreciate any feedback!

Ahhhh,….. I saw your other post first. All my comments still stand now seeing these pictures.
I’m thinking she could have been built anywhere from Maine down to Long Island. Pictures of how she is framed out might help.
Welcome aboard!
If she has federal documents or state registration you may be able to find a builder through those records.
Good luck, keep us posted.
She has NY registration #’s , so she’s not documented.
Yes, maybe NY state can provide something,
Huckins possibly ?
Hello nedL,
Are there any specific beneath deck photos or others I can provide that will help identify the builder, age, etc?
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

What Nick said. ^^^^
If by chance she was built “down east Maine” and is of typical construction for there she may have more wide and flat ribs, possibly even fastened with clenched galvanized boat nails (probably not those fastenings though).
Pictures of her bilge around where the engines are, and aft a bit should tell us if she has a ‘built down’ keel or a skeg keel,… additional info for her underbody shape that might help lead to where she was built.
yes, this is true in many states, however there are no registration numbers assigned, you simply display the sticker (so the state knows they received their revenue).
You may not display registration numbers on a documented vessel (There are no numbers assigned by the state to display) So. As she is displaying registration numbers she is not documented.
