Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
Spent a week in June just north of Lake Garda.

Curious steering system. Implementing that on a lightweight boat will be expensive.
His steering systems and boats are innovative. The wheel is very cool. The leveling cockpit he has placed in them allows a wheelchair skipper to steer.
I wouldn't mind seeing his boats and getting to talk to him over a sail, prosecco and prosciutto melon.

the leveling cockpit looks like 'no sailing barefoot' on this boat

I lost a crewman to a toe sucking drowning.

I have to admit to seeing no merit in having the cockpit divided by the monster wheel.A tiller would open tings up and reduce the cost,so what merit is the wheel believed to have?
Where's the head?
Nice boat but for the very high cost, they could have put a bit of room for a porti-potty.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.
Skiing is the next best thing to having wings.
I can see how that might help a bit when boarding, but wouldn't said individual then be confined to a small area near the stern? I feel that the crossover for tiller or wheel is somewhere between 32 and 38 feet and central cockpits pretty much demand a wheel. As much as sailors of small catboats find themselves with a wheel that probably has as much to do with the leverage of the normal barn door rudder as anything else,I still need persuading that wheel on a smallish boat is the best solution.Tilting cockpit floors and tilting saloon tables are another set of ideas that probably seem sensible at first and may seem less like a good thing the first time a finger or toe gets nipped.
I could imagine solo sailing on one with a recliner option.

since few people sail with me - extra toes and fingers are not a problem. If by chance someone did sail with me - I would remove the chair and sail without the tiltomatic cockpit.
