Looks like a Firebrand. From memory, about 1964?
edit.Firebrand built 64 launched 65.. this one is bigger and a year later than Firebrand. Shes a spitting image of a boat I know that lives here.

My best sailing mate in New Zealand, Malcolm, had a Gary Mull 40-foot sloop called Spyker. Fast cruiser.

I think he bought it from a South African who gave up on his circumnavigation at Auckland.

Here he is with Deb in 2007, drying out the foresail.

Spyker looks like a standard Mull 40/ 42 which were built here. They were short run production boats built by Eade over a number of years branded as Chico 40 or 42( 42 's hand an extended boarding scoop)
