    Happy Thanksgiving back atcha We're headed over to a friend of our daughter's (with said daughter and Son-In-Law) as our kitchen is down due to a remodel. Thankful for friends who care and great kids

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Roast Turkey, my mom's sausage and bread stuffing, sugar snap peas, and my mom's candied sweet potatoes - cooked, sliced and doused in lemon juice, and brown sugar, then roasted. No marshmallows, not sweet, nice and tart.

    Desert is my mom's famous "secret" poppyseed cake (not that secret -- the recipe is printed on the can of Solo poppyseed filling.), a chocolate tart with ginger crust and gingerbread.
