Ex-Rand Paul aide pardoned by Trump convicted of illegally funneling Russian cash to Trump campaign

A former senior aide to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. and Sen. Rand Paul R-Ky., was convicted Thursday of illegally helping a Russian businessman contribute to former President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign.
Jesse Benton "was convicted of conspiring to solicit and cause an illegal campaign contribution by a foreign national, effecting a conduit contribution, and causing false records to be filed with the FEC", per the Justice Department. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

And remember: The GOP-controlled Senate concluded there was collusion between Trump and Russia, and did nothing about it. Mueller confirmed it, and also testified Trump could be charged, but the DoJ under Barr did nothing.

Why hasn't the Biden DoJ dusted off the Mueller report and charged Trump?

None of this is going anywhere. Must be more money changing hands at that level than I understand. Evidently even the ‘good guys’ are being bought. These things get dragged out forever then charges are quietly dropped when people have long forgotten and are distracted by new corruption. We are being so handled.
