    Default Voter Suppression Reports

    Report them here . .

try to include sources of info.

Here is one of the ways it works in Texas . . .

    https://www.keranews.org/2022-electi...-polling-sites

". . only 50% of the state’s 36 public universities have an on-campus early-voting location this year. That drops to around 20% for Texas’ nine historically Black colleges and universities, ."

Are you aware that black and Latino voters wait in significantly longer lines to vote than whites ?

Do you think that is by accident ??

    https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...-wait-longer1/

". . voters in predominantly black neighborhoods waited 29 percent longer, on average, than those in white neighborhoods. They were also about 74 percent more likely to wait for more than half an hour."

Those poor little snowflakes have to go off campus to vote, what a shame, I'm 76 and had to drive to the polling place today with no complaints.

Rigged electoral system. Should disqualify the whole states results on the grounds of State sponsored corruption.

And florida as well it seems
"The DeSantis administration is attempting to block Department of Justice election monitors from gaining access to polling places in South Florida, saying in a letter that the federal government’s involvement would be “counterproductive” and in violation of state law."

My friends and I cannot remember ever standing in a line for more than 15 minutes or so to vote. Lines longer than that should be illegal.

Is it not strange that the debate over the last couple of years has been over the legality of giving food or water to people standing on long lines rather than on the length of the lines?

Most college students don't have cars on campus. Why would you want to make it harder to vote? WTF is wrong with you that you would want that?
In the US this perverted idea of “blood and soil” over “constitutional principles” is the most radical and anti-democratic and anti-Conservative idea I have heard in my lifetime.

I think that the longest line I've ever stood in at a polling booth was two people.

I cant imagine having to wait in whatever weather is there, for as long as some people wishing to vote have to.

Lines? What lines? In Orygone citizens are automatically registered at the DMV, precinct changes with your address, and has been vote by mail since before 1998. No fraud, just some gross incompetence such as in Clackamas county.

I read the article earlier today. It did say that a MTV group was funding a shuttle at A&M to run to the polls from campus every 20 minutes. Agree or not with Texas elections, I don't see much of a hardship.

Good on groups like this who step up to provide services to voters anywhere.

Are you on crack? Why should a charity be responsible for access to the right to vote? WTF is wrong with you that you're okay with it being harder to vote?

Its shameless GOP voter suppression. Everywhere there are too many Republicans standing in line to to rebel against the Covid lockdowns and the Economy through casting their one vote....

Gerrymandering is also a very effective means of voter suppression . . .

why bother to cast a ballot if the result is fore-ordained ??

This applies to both the gerrymandered and the gerrymanderees.

I dunno about Indiana, but in Ohio, campaign material and/or campaigning is prohibited within 100 feet of a polling place — there are pickets set in the form of US flags to mark the precincts of the precinct polling place.
