There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
Most enjoyable. Keep 'em coming, please.

They look great! I'm impressed.

Oops! I didn’t explain that #boatober2022 is a drawing “challenge” for the month of October issued by an internet friend of mine. The idea is to draw (or paint, or sculpt, I suppose?) a boat (or boats) every day from a photograph prompt he provides. The plan is to finish one a day for the duration, if my hand holds up.
Today’s challenge is a doozy!
Thanks for posting these, I am enjoying them!
I particularly like "Day four"

Some technical difficulties with the tablet delayed day 5 for a while, but I hustled through, and it’s done. Well… done enough. On to Day 6!

Day 6 is a wrap.
Very nice Rob...
Great work. Thanks for sharing.

Love em all! Doug
Wonderful stuff!
You maybe accept commissions?
I am reticent to speak about any business here, in deference to the rules. I simply wish to share these with everyone, because… boats!
I would absolutely love to have a reason to draw boats, other than just for fun, though. Ahem.![]()
Beat-tee-ous! Dig those floorboards.

Thanks for all the kind words. I’m a bit behind, but I’ll post more as they emerge.![]()
Really beautiful stuff, Rob!

Day 8 is a little late, and loosey goosey. Whee!

I apologize some of these boats are not wooden. And, that I’ve fallen behind. Here’s Day 9, finished. Whoo-hoo!
The prompt for Day 12 (I think?) is a tractor towing a boat. Can’t wait to get there!
Thanks for the kind words, all. I’ll keep throwing them up until all 31 are done.
Thanks for sharing the paintings, looking forward to seeing more.
Loving it, Rob!

Very cool. Your a talented man, Rob.
Focus on the effort not the outcome.
Whatever floats your boat.

How about some sailboats racing for Day 11? At this rate, I may get current again…

Day 12! Hard to go wrong with a boat and a tractor…
That is cool!

That really is cool, I love the style of it!!! I thought it was one of those computer generated paintings from a photo, which is intended as a complement, it has the whole depth of field focus thing going on in the foreground and background and the perspective (to my eye) is perfect. Really nicely done Rob.
