Leo is cooly better than most. No matter his decreased abilities. Plus he spent his youth in my hometown.

Dupuytrens is treatable - either with surgery, or now, with a simple (enzyme) injection. Remarkably effective.

After two days I had to change the bandage and I was totally surprised at how small an incision it was and how unnecessary the excessive bandaging was

They may have dressed it in that fashion in order to 'splint' the distal joint - to avoid flexion, stress on the incision and stitches.

As long as the enzyme doesn't trigger an autoimmune reaction, and the doc doesn't break your skin wide open across your palm because thick callouses, yeah, it's great.

The results of the biopsy are in. the results suggest it was your lost iPhone 6 plus. Had it been the new iPhone 14, the procedure would have totally been covered by apple care.

Heal fast and get that hand back in shape. Nobody respects a SoCal driver giving the bird covered by a bloody bandage.

I get the stiches out Thursday, no report back from the biopsy so I’m figuring no news is good news. It’s healing pretty nicely. I’ve always been a fast healer. So far I can bang it without screening like a little Bieaach

Update so it looks like the mass that they removed kinda messed up the middle finger. It's still healing but it looks like it's going to be preeminently crooked.

Good movement/extension? Looks (to me) like the extensor tendon isn't attached. Your surgeon will know.

^ My experience is not necessarily. Things are red as capillaries rebuild themselves etc, eventually turning back to a standard hue. When I whanged my thumb with a hammer and it turned black it took almost a year for the nail to return to normal. The last stage was a large reddish area under the nail that eventually faded back to normal.

Be positive. That's all that can happen because that what you envision. Do what you have to to have a best recovery. Mental preparation, physical attention and a quality hand surgeon will make that paw just fine.
