I haven't watched a baseball game in years, yet here I am watching and waiting for
Aaron Judge to hit homer #61 and #62.
It's like watching paint dry.
Almost as bad as soccer.
I am soooooo bad.

I don't follow MLB any more. Played baseball or softball all my life. Used to sponsor a Community League team for years, and played on that team. Love the game... just decided I don't enjoy it much as a spectator.
Back when I was making an effort, and lived in New England, I rooted for the Mets. The Yankees? I have no use for a team that consistently buys championships. The fact that they could was part of what soured me on b'ball as a spectator sport.

I follow the Yankees to keep track of Matt Carpenter, and now Harrison Bader.

Don’t expect much, and you won’t be disappointed…

No joy in Mudville, either.
He'll do it.
All rise!

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
No, but my Cardinals are doing pretty well this year!
Nothing else matters but how I raise my children ... and their opinion of me, as a father.
I have been a Braves fan all of my life, but growing up in the days when Joe Garagiola and Tony Kubek called the one game a week that was televised, and at least half of those were Yankees games, Bobby Mercer was my favorite player as a kid.
And as someone who also played as long as I was able, I love the game, very much. And I admire greatness. What Judge is doing, fighting for those last two home runs but also for a very, very rare triple crown, is pure awesomeness.
I was also so happy for Albert Pujols, to see him reach 700. I had the pure joy of watching him hit one of those from the stands in Anaheim a few years ago. I don't remember who the Angels were playing or who won, but I remember that home run. He has had an incredible career.

Three people, including our Bilgee Rob, convinced me to walk less than a mile and watch Women’s Collegiate Softball. Super exciting stuff. Pure love of the game. Old fashioned spotertainment.
ITS CHAOS, BE KIND
I was in the Reggie Jackson era. Does that count?
