I will bet money that every member has a "Guardians of the Galaxy" T-shirt or hat.

I remember all the arguments that the moon represented the greatest military advantage of all time, anybody who had it could just shoot nukes at everybody else, even through it take three days to get here.
But it's not like going to the moon was a bad thing. So maybe something good might come from it.

The words are kinda of scary, my knee jerk reaction is to post this.

Can we agree that greater militarization of space is not a good idea?

Now, hire someone and say to them, "You're job is to watch that box and make sure it isn't stolen." How aggressively will they watch that box? Then tell them do this, do that, and watch that box, and you will get an employee with a balanced work load.

If you want greater militarization of space, create a new wing of the military whose sole purpose is the militarization of space. The Air Force was doing a fine job. This is a stunt that has consequences.
