I see H-28s rigged with and without bowsprits, other than a larger foretriangle is there much diffference in the rigs?

under powered if you live in a light wind area so the bowsprit and a mast head genoa or Yankee gives you a bit of extra power in that under 10-12 knot wind range.
Holiday’s big jenny on a bowsprit can be a bit much on a breezy day in Buzzard’s Bay. Balance isn’t too bad sailing jib and jigger, but rigging the working job (staysail) as roller furled for everyday use has been on my list.
My advice to her next owner: under 10 knots? Big jenny. Over 20 knots, working jib.
