    Default A Hindu religious song

I myself don't understand the words so well.
The song starts after about three minutes.

Looks like water high, but no flooding... is that up near you?

I could see some inspirational lyrics set to that song. Can't say I loved the voice, but really enjoyed the instrumentals and the percussion. Thanks for sharing. Hope you continue to be well, and that your nation recovers quickly and well.

Well, that knocks All Things Bright and Beautiful into a cocked hat.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

Water is important in the Hindu religion, so lots of temples are on river banks or have lakes attached

Now seated at the bank of Ganga in remembarance of my Pita Ji who use to sing this song to me and I always use to hum along with him, with great happiness I share it with you all as I sit along the holy and beautiful place of Rishikesh with my respected Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji

You don't post much in the Bilge but when you do Syed, it is notable and appreciated.

    More please.

    Namaste Tom,

I am glad to know that there is at least one more person on the forum from this part of the world.
And thank you for the generous compliments.

Actually, almost all the large cities in subcontinent are situated on the banks of rivers.

    Namaste Syed,

My response to your thread was spoken truely. We are travelers on the wheel of life.
I found a translation of the song which is very spiritually moving. I am glad you liked as much as I.
I hoped posting the words of the song would bring more kind responses.
    Peace Brother,

    Tom
