    I like his comments on single handing. He was the uncle of a freind of mine from Dorset. Religious but insightful.

    Anyone remember Gary Moore? He introduced Carol Burnett. Also had a small tug. Can't find it; looked for a photo of it.

    Lovely boat Nick, but any idea why the rudder is so long? Most others have shorter 'penny on stick' . Also, my Oughtred WT, built to plans, the rudder is not self centering if let go. Sharply goes one way or the other. So I have a bungee tensioned cross cord that hooks onto a cleat on the tiller.
    How is it on PM?

    In order to beach stern first with the bow to the surf, the forefoot is deep and the stern floats in a couple of inches. So the rig is well forward, and they needed that long rudder to balance the rig, pulling the CLR aft.
    It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

    I can but put my own little boat here, designed and built by me.. if I don't love her no one will. The one on the port side..in the first photo.
