    Default Oslo. The Future?

Iím in Oslo, city of almost no on-street parking downtown. Unless itís an electric car. Hundreds of former parking spots have been permanently converted to mini parks with tables and benches.
Thousands of electric scooters everywhere, and because itís Norway, they are carefully parked. Streetcars all over the city. Fully electric busses.

    And people walk everywhere.

    Itís absolutely lovely.

And they're smart enough to not vote for an idiot like Trump. An experience in a Norwegian Diesel Motor Cruiser on the Oslo Fiord is why we now have the Albin-25 (see left)

Yes. The sun was out! And yes it was noticeably quiet. The streetcar whine is loud, but other than construction noise, that's it.
In Bergen now, noisy as he'll, and it's blowin' a gale. Catching our coastal cruiser tomorrow. Hurtigruten.
