Also anyone who likes beautiful scenery, excellent film work and nice music Does anyone recognise the orchestral piece in the first half of this clip? It's simple but lovely. Todd Moen has a lot of clips on Youtube. Always good to watch- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HaKAj--Bk4 JayInOz

    Beautiful
I love flyfishing but don't do enough to be really good at it.

If I lived in New Zealand Robbie I'd fish 'til my arm fell off Long casts in big water is nice, but I prefer secluded little pools in hidden creeks with my little hand made, split cane, four weight- I bought it in Somerset in England from the old feller who made it, and caught a nice rainbow in a nearby pond. The place was closed but the owners took pity on me and let me cross a biggie off the bucket list- to catch a trout on fly in England JayInOz

Several grasshoppers were harmed in the making of this film....

Beautiful footage. Including some nice drone work.

When would you have time to fish your arm off, Jay? You have cows now, no fishing for you.

It's too bad they didn't bother to credit the music.

While on the topic on trout fishing in America, fisher folk might enjoy these films. The topic is an attempt to restore the blueback trout in a remote Maine pond. The blueback was a legendary fish where I grew up in western Maine. It is two parts. I enjoyed the videography too.

Ever see one of these Jim?

I was watching a young American feller out looking for snakes by torchlight- he has hundreds of Youtube clips and I've seen most of them NKF Herping) and one of these was watching him from only a few yards away. Texas- Arizona maybe? Can't recall. Nice looking Ringtail anyway. JayInOz

Thumbs up Re: For the Fisher People....

I remember fishing with my Dad.
Wish I could still do that.
    Good times.
