Some weather blooming to the South may impact the launch. We will see.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

Scrubbed. Hydrogen bleed. Earliest opportunity is 2 Sept.

Scrubbed for today. Stay tuned for Sept 2.

This mission and its follow-ons will
    1) Continue the study of how humans can live in space. As a consequence we learn more about ourselves.

    2) Furrther the development of technologies to solve problems encountered.

    3) Help sow the next generation of engineers. It's anyone's guess what kinds of products they will create.

    I'm pretty excited.

I have recently watched a number of the Apollo mission documentaries on YouTube - such brave men and an amazing time in US history! I was young at the time, but remember Mom making sure we watched the black and white TV coverage. I still remember holding my breath with the rest of the world while Apollo 13 limped home. The documentaries were a nice refresher.

There is a great deal on Facebook too, but the comments are loaded with the Flat Earthers and the Conspiracy Nuts. The profiles of the conspiracy nuts seem to be similar - poorly educated and too young to have witnessed it. I can't believe we are still talking about a flat earth and a Hollywood stage. Artemis should blow a big hole in the Firmament!!

This trip is unmanned. I only hope I live long enough to see the next manned mission to the moon.

So there is still hope for a boom!

I feel sorry for the poor sobs who drove all the way down there just to see it fizz.

I just wish they had come up with something more revolutionary than an over-sized Apollo capsule.
