    Default Covid sucks

First tested positive on Aug 4th.
Flu like symptoms for a few days followed by a few days with no
symptoms. Tested negative on Day 10.
Felt great for two days and wake up this morning with my nose running like a faucet and
tested positive again. Head cold symptoms.
Whatever strain of covid I've got, it has latched on tight and has no intentions of letting to.
I can't go to church, do my volunteer work, shop or be with friends.
I missed an outing with the Vermont chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association earlier this month and it now looks like I'll miss another this coming Saturday.
    Bummer.
Ok.... I'll stop my whining now.

It is great, however, to have this Forum for helping pass the time.

    Masks, vaccines, “social distancing”…….

Them that have, them that will. Hope you get through this patch quick.

Saw a headline this morning. 10 biggest Biopharms made 700 BILLION profit last year. Apparently Covid doesn’t suck for everyone.

I'm still wearing a mask in stores. I also need to get my 4th shot.

Rich, I'm just glad it isn't what it was 2 years ago. It sucks, but you live.

    Get well soon.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

    It does get better.
Whatever variety went through my office comes with a really annoying dry cough that lingers for a few weeks, two uf us still hacking away.
First time for me back in the gym in four weeks last night - a yoga/pilates class. Arms and shoulders are sore today.

An aside - it's really been surprising to learn virtually none of my old, Republican pt's are aware the party's efforts at 'sunsetting' MC and SS. Most of 'em don't believe me. 'Google is your friend - maybe'.
There's a lot of things they didn't tell me when I signed on with this outfit....

There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.

The hacking cough went away for a few days but now is back.
I'm not that uncomfortable, but it's all just a nuisance keeping me from my normal life.

I've had COVID twice now. The first time wasn't too bad. Paul was at home with me. As he got better, I got sick. At least there was someone for fix the chicken soup.

I had it again about a month and half ago, following some medical tests in the hospital. I was home alone at the time and let myself get dehydrated. It was miserable, but I lost 15 lbs!
