Sorry to hear. I'm just getting over it. Same thing: 101 fever for two days plus cough, heavy chest, sniffles, fatigue, aches and sore throat.
The heavy chest and sore throat are all that remain after five days.
I've been on Paxlovid for the past five days.
I suppose it works but it leaves a metalic taste in my mouth that no amount of mouthwash will erase.

Genuinely sorry to hear that. Take is easy, rest, and eat what you can.

Sorry, man. Been there (wait! I am there!).

Rest up. Drink lots of water. Naps are good.

Take care of yourself. Start taking 5000mg of vitamin D every day. Fresh air and sunlight walks outside will help as soon as you feel up for it.
Without friends none of this is possible.

Knock on wood, but am ever so careful. Mona had a bone marrow transplant two years ago. Her WBC is almost but not quite normal now. I got the pox on the first go round, spring of 2020. Through extreme fastidiousness at this time Mona and i have evaded the Covid Pox.

I know a woman who went to Scotland for a two-week vacation. She tested positive the day she got there and spent the whole time in her room.
Hope it goes better for the two of you!

Ugh, I hear the Covid stuff is getting around. Feel well soon.

I'm afraid it's only a matter of time for our household. We have a host of family birthday parties coming up. I don't have any control over the parties....except to excuse myself from them. But when they are for the grandkids ...easier said than done.

Hope you mend quickly and get back to posting cartoons. Strangely, the wife and I have yet to come down with it but a lot of people are.

My wife is still testing negative even though I have it.

Thanks for all the good wishes. So far the symptoms have been quite mild, a head cold and general vacant, woozy feelings It's day two of symptoms, I'm hopeful that this is as bad as it's going to get.
