Who in the USA is being censored?

Twitter cancelling an account is an excercise of the right of property. They can make a careful years-long process out of cancelling people, or they can tack the customer list to the wall an throw darts at it.

Thank you for at least entertaining the possibility that other forms of society may have valid points.

I understand that it is difficult to overcome a lifetime of indoctrination but as you say, shutting jones' pie hole would be a desirable goal.

I don't think the US could or should follow the China approach but imo again, much easier and more severe penalties for outright lying would help. We shouldn't have to go through what Johnny Depp did to get justice.
