During last week’s adventure being towed home (another thread somewhere), the towboat tried to turn me too fast, not realizing how heavy Snoose is. The result is that the port bow chock went 50’ in the air and came to rest at the bottom of Dalco Passage. As these chocks are probably 75 years old, I didn’t think there was a chance in hell of finding a replacement, let alone a port side one. After extensive googling, I’m convinced this is the only one on the planet, at least above water. I’ll have to do a bit of rail repair to get it anchored properly, but that’s easy.
