    Default Swede 55/79

I thought i saw a thread this morning or was it a bee buzzing through my ears. It is such a sexy boat who space and time passed is beyond me. Like looking at the sexiest thin Swedish film star sharing a cigerette with my greatest high school rival.

Swedes have had the similar and great sailing Finn series for many years. Long, thin and not much room below but fine sailing boats with no pretense of all that interior space for the salesmen sway buyer's wives with.

Slip space by the foot LOA is a killer, though.

Does anyone know how Noah is doing? Does he still have his Swede 55? We stopped in and saw it in person soon after he got it - but it was on the hard and we didn’t get a sail.

I haven't spoken to him in a long time. When I went to visit him in Burlington the boat was on the hard for the winter/spring. He used to post on SA but I don't peek in there any more. These really are very cool boats.
