Trump has destroyed most everything he's touched. He managed to get 3 extreme justices onto the court, with McConnell's help.

The court is taking us back to the dark ages.

The only way out of this is to elect enough democrats to make laws that are more specific in giving agencies specific authorities to do the jobs they are intended to do.

Religion has replaced science. That means, as far as our court is concerned, the earth is flat.

I find it difficult to believe there are people on this forum that are not upset by this court's decisions.

Everyone here, for example, must like the idea of clean water to sail on, so it's hard to imagine giving the EPA less ability to keep it clean.

'Regulatory Capture' is a well-known way that capitalism can go wrong.

And it is just one more sign that the Acton Dictum is in play.

It tends to minimize when that concentration of wealth & power is ameliorated.

Spot on John. A court with people like these is exactly what the current crop of repugnicans want. My mind wonders just what the republicans really want in this short life. None of the usual reasons seem to adequately explain it unless they really do want to change the democracy/republic/whatever into a egocentric dictatorship.

They believe in 'last days' is the obvious answer. They don't need to do anything different because Armageddon will wipe it all out anyhow………….
