When I was a kid, it was called Dominion Day but Canada Day will do.

Things are going to be interesting in downtown Ottawa, some of the freedom convoy types are back. I am staying in the suburbs. Was going to go to the cottage but the wife has eye surgery booked for the 4th and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to travel for two or three days with the price of gas being in the $ 2 per litre range.

That might only apply to the parts of Ontario the government is interested in , it seems at times those of us south of Chatham aren’t really included, both a blessing and a curse.
