Cool Looking for plans for a dory style 18-24 foot. Carvel planked

I am looking for plans in the 18-24 range. Dory shaped is nice but not lapstrake. I looked at the eastern dory's and although nice, it is not what I want.

Ideally, I will be able to put a small diesel inboard in it as well as a small sail setup.

If anyone has any idea of a style or design that would be this or close to it, please let me know so that I may obtain plans.

    Thank you

You need to contact Mystic Seaport Ships Plans as they now have the Atkin plans.

The Dory Book by Gardner is a great resource. I wouldn't hesitate to convert plans to carvel if that's what you wish. Lapstrake is stiffer, you might need to adjust the scantlings.

Complete plans are in this book, I built the "Pemaquid" dory from that book about 30 years ago. Put a 1cyl 8hp Yanmar in it, still going strong...

There is a used copy at Amazon right now for $42
(It is a fun book to read through, Atkin's Valgerda is also in that volume)
    Another on ebay $15!

    Atkin's Merry Weather http://www.atkinboatplans.com/Sail/MerryWeather.html

Always has seemed like a very buildable boat. And kinda cool.
Hopefully the plans are available from Mystic Seaport Ships Plans.

Chapelle's SOUTHWIND is another dory I really like to dream about. http://boatplans-online.com/plans/BPO_south.pdf
