Had Obama or Clinton or anyone else been the president at the time, the covid outbreak would've been contained much, much earlier and maybe those millions here and around the world wouldn't have died. We wouldn't have had hospitals, ICUs, ERs, and morgues filled to capacity. In just that thing, he sabotaged the economy of the US and the rest of the world, and increased hardship for eveyone. trmp is personally and directly responsible for the deaths due to covid, and all the business losses. He, in that effort, is directly and personally responsible for all the consequent supply chain problems. And most importantly he and his efforts weaponized the extant partisanship and is personally and directly responsible for all the impossibly stupid anti-mask and anti-vax protests. He did that.

He should be charged with ten million counts of crimes of against humanity. There isn't a hole deep enough or a fire hot enough to punish him for all that.

The ripple effects of his hiring his craven cronies to the departments of Justice, Education, the US Postal Service and several others have devastated people's lives all over the country and we, the people will feel and pay for that for another generation.

The ONLY good thing about trmp having usurped the presidency with the help of Putin, is the bare fact that his evil will have, ultimately, pushed against our institutions and establishment enough to be a solid, lasting impetus for change.

He inadvertantly tagged and drew out of the woodwork the various enemies of our society and democracy in our own population, the white supremacists, the radicalized conservative oriented anti-human rights and anti-voting rights clowns. It's on him personally and directly that violence has become a feature of air travel. And he's also to some significant extent responsible for encouraging Putin and other despot autocrats around the world to disable democratic goverments. trmp is responsible in significant part, for the rise in rightwing extremism domestically and abroad.

And that still doesn't cover all the damage that asshole has wrought for his own ego and vanity.

There is nothing genuinely good about trmp's presence in the world. Nothing. He is the new benchmark for evil, right up with Stalin and Mao and Hitler. Oh, yes he is. His version was not like Hitler's holocaust or Stalin's or Mao's famines and pogroms, and his actual numbers of deaths isn't their league, yet, but his effect on the US and on other societies around the world will be felt for generations. We wouldn't, maybe, arguably, have the evil ditz of MT Greene and Boebert, Gaetz, and others occupying seats in our Congress.
