Default Boebert is tired of this "Separation of church and state junk"

It's all from a "stinking letter" one of our foundering fathers penned and she feels the church should direct the government.

This is why you cannot govern with people like her in power. Goldwater was very right in warning against people like Boebert.

"Render unto Caesar those things that are Caesar's and render unto God those things which are God's"
Some guy said that long, long ago and I'm good with it.
If Boebert read more about this guy, and she might just start to understand what he was really about.

Can she now be impeached for failing to support her oath of office?

How can these people get nominated, much less win? There is something wrong with the system.

I think they're adherents of White Blue-Eyed Jesus--a different guy entirely, though people do get them confused from time to time.

Nah, your RWWs are such slow readers that they have not finished the OT yet. They only know Joshua from the plastic dashboard ornaments.

It truly beggars belief that people like her can get elected to such relatively high positions of power.
There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.

If Boebert really likes the idea of the church telling the government what to do, I'd be willing to underwrite the expenses involved to repatriate her to Iran.

To be fair, my lot is Canadian. Unlike the Brits and Yanks, our politicians are all intelligent, competent, honourable, honest, and always put the public good ahead of personal ambition.

Oh, sure. Attend a City Council meeting in Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, New York, … and you’ll find plenty of them. Congress has “Democratic Socialists” who really mean that (and as other threads have debated, possibly serve to whip up MAGA types with their presence hence the boots on their heads).

I’m centrist enough to find myself barfing at the MAGA crowd and rolling my eyes at the loony left. No false equivalence here.
