    One option that hasn't been explored (at least I don't remember it) is a "breakback" trailer. I'm thinking roll it back until the trailer tires are wet then pop the trailer bed up and the boat should slide right in. Small hand crank winch ought to be able to handle your jon boat on the retrieve.

    Look for a drop axle trailer or have one made, the boat will sit lower.
