Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.
Strike quickly, if you want to drive a stick... they're becoming rare. It's the primary reason I'm holding on to my 2013 Accord with a 6 speed manual.
"Reason and facts are sacrificed to opinion and myth. Demonstrable falsehoods are circulated and recycled as fact. Narrow minded opinion refuses to be subjected to thought and analysis. Too many now subject events to a prefabricated set of interpretations, usually provided by a biased media source. The myth is more comfortable than the often difficult search for truth."
Corolla?
There's a lot of things they didn't tell me when I signed on with this outfit....
do a unedited review on the iPhone - it will a classic. Bring the dog to complete the test drive! When the sales man asks if you want to buy it, tell him, "I need a few minutes to talk it over with my dog Sh!thead."
Without friends none of this is possible.
I’ve got a co-worker who is holding out for the 300Hp version.
And you chide me on Tesla's design ?
That POS looks like a 14 year olds Japanese manga sneaker.

Not sure 'the attraction', Paul; it's rated #7 in it's sector (behind Honda and Mazda and everyone else). Plus, an anemic drive train.

Anything I have to bend WAY over to get into, like my wife's Camry, will NEVER find its way even to the BOTTOM of my list of prospects. My Kia Soul 5-speed manual has the cab height of a full-size pickup (floor to roof) and is a perfect fit. It harkens back to the two best cars I ever owned (Omni and Horizon stick shifts) with WAY over half a million miles on the pair.
Long live the rice burner!
I will order your shoes 14 wides.

fuel mileage, price, toyota service and reliability, color, its available
not looking for a performance or long distance vehicle in any way
and the fact that a dog crate will fit in the back
this will be for commuting to my dog training clients throughout the phoenix area - i drive approximately 150 miles three days per week
the other vehicle i am considering is a prius - almost twice the retail price to gain 17 mpg
kat and i have a full size suv and full size 1/2 ton truck as daily weekly drivers
i hates feeding them

THAT’s not a Corolla. THIS is a Corolla.

Is yours the one in the front, or behind it? :P
I'd look at the Civic or HRV - unless the manual is a must. https://automobiles.honda.com/tools/...=&paymentType=

A Prius C would be ideal. 53 mpg.

Yes! I love this little car, and was looking hard at it when we were shopping for my wife. Like you say; cheap, practical, Toyota reliability, and 6-speed. Plenty fast enough and I bet it's fun as heck to drive. With better tires and some cheap suspension mods you could be chasing Miatas on twisty roads. The only thing close is the 6-sp Civic Hatch (non-turbo) which is roomier but more money.
Toyotas are crap!

I almost bought one and it’s one of the few vehicles on the lot around here.
I just ordered a RAV4 hybrid. 3 to 6 months but at least it’s on order. We’ll see what happens. If I’m not particular about color or willing to accept an upgraded model that randomly might show up, I could get something a bit sooner.
I needed something that would be a reasonable vehicle for a 3 hour commute 4 times a month, in blistering heat or a foot of snow and some light towing now and then.
41c/38h & quite a bit more $$ than the Corolla.

I was never impressed with 4 door Porsche's they look like an elongated egg.
To me this is how a Porsche is supposed to look.
Although the 2 door Taycan is a nice looking car

I just put a new battery in the old F-250 in the WalMart parking lot. About 105f out there, and that was after lying up under the deck of the glass Dragon, getting it ready to drop the rig next week. Hot out there.
