I’ll bitch. The summer high pressure system has moved in. Not going anywhere for a while. Dry spring. ****.

I wouldn’t have the energy to bitch if I was there. My whine is usually chiggers and poison ivy but mostly to myself.
I like how they change between mostly sunny and partly cloudy. Breaks up the monotony.
We’re warm and humid, drizzly rain for a few days I expect.
We might have got to about 80 today before the rain shower, 73 right now. It looks like it is about to warm up some.

Fog at 11 am, with hawk.
With double La Nina we had around 3 months of almost continuous rain, which included our worst flood on record. The last two weeks have been mostly sunny and dry but cool. Daytime temperatures are up around 17-18c , and night time temperatures are expected to drop to around 4c.

Today, glorious. Sunny, high about 75F 24C, not humid, not too windy. I'm going in a little while to join some folks to sing old songs on the back patio of the Dubliner pub.

I am bitching because we have great weather right now.. and I am waiting to have surgery to fix a wee small umbilical hernia, so I can't do much about it.

A glorious day here in God's country.
Low seventies, low humidity, sunshine and a gentle breeze.
Just cool enough and enough of a breeze to keep the black flies away.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Hernia knocked out my fall work on the cabin plans. Still feel behind. Not going to happen until september. Hope it goes well.Originally Posted by Art Haberland;[URL="tel:6673176"
They put a grounding pad on my leg to ground the cauterizing thing. Apparently failed to make good contact and now (6 months later), can’t feel my thigh. Might be a good idea to shave the area.
It was so hot today that I almost got heat stroke working on the sailboat. It hit 65F and was more like 75 inside the boat. I felt really sick when I finished rewiring the control circuit for the electric winches. Damn heat.
It was much nicer when we were out sailing yesterday - 55F and scattered light rain showers. I was quite comfy in a short sleeved shirt.
65F/18.5C with a nice breeze. The deluge is scheduled for Friday
ITS CHAOS, BE KIND
Hey dog, have you tried those evaporative vests ? They should be good for dry places. Last summer I got a cooling vest with interior pockets for flexible cool packs from the freezer. Makes a HUGE difference for me. When it gets to 90F and humid I just don’t do much of anything and if I do it’s about 30 min of work with 45 min of cooling off. Potassium supplement helps but I am seriously slowed down. W the vest I can work for 2 1/2 hrs outside w no problem. It’s the difference between serious debilitation, zoning out and feeling productive being able to do work.
Glorious day here today. High 60s, dry, breezy, took a ferry ride to look at a boat out on Chebeague Island. The kind of weather we dream about all winter.

Not yet. Between the humidity and mosquitoes, I mostly stay in. But may give it a shot.Originally Posted by LeeG;[URL="tel:6673211"
We've had several days with single digit maximums. Quite a bit of snow just south of here. Today is miserable again. I'm using the wifes car because I would make too much mess trying to get my truck out of the shed. The ground is saturated and water is laying on the surface. To make it worse the missus has been really sick with the flu for over a week. The lady in the produce store asked how she was doing. I said I think I might have to get on E Harmony and start looking for a new one. She told me I was an awful awful man and to leave the premises. JayInOz

Highs in the 60’s here all week, lows in mid 40’s to 50 degrees.

Don’t expect much, and you won’t be disappointed…
8c, intermittent sunshine and hail squalls. But it's winter and really good early snow may indicate a good season and subsequent river flows. But beware August, history says warm with rain………………………...
Yep.

Cool and wet spring weather here this year, with some good late-season snows in the mountains. Much needed.
Local rivers and streams are running high but not flooding.
Mid afternoon here and eight degrees with westerly winds and light showers. One of my wifes sisters just finished a nineteen kilometre walk in the hills around Canberra- four degrees. I had twin lambs born last night- luckily I saw that the old ewe was looking for a place to do it and got her in under cover. This is sheep killing weather. Years ago we had blizzard like conditions in the middle of lambing. The news reporters were giddy with excitement and kept going on about the winter wonderland. Dad and I were driving round gathering up dead new born lambs and piling them up to be burnt. A different perspective. JayInOz
Low 90s, single digit humidity for the next 10 days. .
It could be worse, like at Pless and Kat's place. ;-)

Every Republican is an obstacle to progress.
Overall We've had a dry spring, but we've just had a few days of heavy rain, up to 6inches deep on some back roads. It's also been very chilly, down to 11C, for the time of year, the heating in the house has come on. Ex-tropical storm Alex, late of Florida is about to hit the north of Scotland, so it's going to be unusually windy shortly too.
Just an amateur bodging away..
Bitch: Things are beginning to warm up here, our sailing season tends to close down over the summer. July and August can be a little brutal:
