Yup. If it's wood I'd want a full survey, especially being a fresh water boat. Frozen snot in fresh water...meh...no biggie, but wood....

I'm not particularly a traditionist. I like lifelines on pretty much anything. But then I've spent much of my sailing time near shore and offshore where they're required.
